The 2021 Kolam Installation was assembled in DC on the 24th April by a team of volunteers in front of the Capitol Building. Around 1950 tiles from around the country were clasped together to create the kolam patterns in about 3-4 hours and then disassembled. People from all walks of life participated by creating the tiles with paper, paint and boards for this temporary installation.
